Originally from New Zealand, Jason and Katrina moved to Australia in 2006. With the aim of bringing a new level of care, dignity and respect to funeral services, they decided to open up their own funeral home. Over the years, each of our locations have come under different names—Jason Killick Funerals, Killick Family Funerals and L.R Thomas Funeral Directors—but now we’re simply known as Killick Family Funerals.
Killick Family Funerals is truly a family-owned and operated business—it’s what enables us to maintain the level of care and attention expected of us. Jason and Katrina’s eldest daughter manages our Kingaroy location and their youngest daughter is a professional florist who creates our beautiful flower arrangements. As a team, we currently service South East Queensland— including Brisbane, Ipswich, Kingaroy and Cherbourg.
